Ramadan Food Drive 2025

As-Salamu `Alaykum Dear Parents/Guardians,

The blessed month of Ramadan is around the corner, Ramadan Kareem to all
our CIS families!

In the spirit of giving and compassion, the Calgary Islamic School is organizing our annual food drive to support our Muslim brothers, sisters, and families in Calgary. Classes from K-12 will be collecting non-perishable food items for needy families in our community. All food collected during the food drive will be donated and distributed to local families in need insha Allah.

When: February 24 - March 12 (last day to bring in food items)
What: Halal Non-perishable food items (for example: rice, oil, flour, sugar, lentils,
beans, canned foods, pasta, etc.)
Avoid: items with any meat products and gelatin
Where: Students bring items to front office area
